Research and experience
We use AI-assisted research, drafting, and site maintenance under the publisher’s direction. A research guide is based on source material and analysis; it does not mean that we personally visited a place, stayed in a hotel, cooked a recipe, or tested a product. We only present firsthand experience when it has documented support and is clearly identified.
Official sources can establish a fare, route, address, or rule. They cannot establish our personal experience or prove that an option is best for every reader. Our comparisons explain the tradeoffs and the circumstances in which our recommendation applies.
Sources, prices, and dates
For changing information, our editorial standard is to link the relevant operator, government, attraction, or manufacturer page and state when it was checked. A check date applies to the facts identified in that guide. It is not a guarantee that every price or timetable remains unchanged.
We distinguish published tariffs from live availability, historical prices from current prices, and hypothetical examples from actual quotes. Where a source does not answer a question, we say so. A broad price range still needs support; calling it “typical” does not establish that support.
We preserve original publication dates and use an update date for substantive corrections. We revisit guides when source information changes or a correction is reported. If a claim lacks a clear source, use the operator’s current information and let us know which sentence needs review.
Images and tools
The site includes AI-generated illustrations. They are not evidence of a visit, a hotel room’s current condition, a tested recipe, or an actual product result. Maps, diagrams, and calculations should be read with their stated assumptions.
Our hotel comparison calculator uses the amounts entered by the reader. It does not fetch live prices or make bookings. The formula and the limits of the comparison appear alongside the result.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate links are identified near their placement. A commission does not establish that an option is cheapest or best. We retain ordinary official links when they help readers, and explain alternatives such as independent booking or a free activity when relevant. Corrections
Send the page URL, the sentence in question, and a supporting source to our contact address. We check the source, correct material errors, and add a dated note when the change affects the advice. We do not invent testimonials, visits, qualifications, or discount guarantees to make a guide more persuasive.
