An ordinary cotton T-shirt is not an accepted pool cover-up at Cimer. The official dress-code FAQ advises a rash-guard top or full-body swimwear when large tattoos need covering in the Aqua Spa Zone. Confirm the areas you want to use before buying a ticket: that pool advice does not settle every question about tattoo admission elsewhere in the spa.
Official information checked October 24, 2026 (US Central time). This guide concerns Cimer at Paradise City in Incheon. It does not establish tattoo rules for other Korean spas or promise admission for an individual visitor.
Match the clothing to the zone
The official Cimer FAQ in Korean, under the dress-code question, distinguishes these areas:
| Area you want to use | What to plan |
|---|---|
| Aqua Spa Zone: swimming pools | Swimwear is required. Ordinary cotton T-shirts, shorts and exercise clothing are excluded. The tattoo-cover guidance names rash-guard tops and full-body swimwear |
| Jjimjil Spa Zone: clothed relaxation area | Wear the spa uniform; this also applies to its fitness room |
| Changing, shower and bathing areas | Ask Cimer specifically about your tattoo and intended use. Do not assume the pool’s clothing guidance answers this separate question |
The FAQ gives no numerical size threshold for a “large” tattoo and does not provide an all-zone approval for every tattoo. A review describing someone else’s successful visit leaves your own question open, particularly if their tattoo coverage or chosen areas differed from yours.
Start with what you actually want from the visit. If swimming is essential, resolve the pool clothing question. If you want a body scrub or the bathing area as well, include that in your inquiry. A reply limited to swimming should not be treated as an answer about every service.
Buy the ticket for the areas you want
Cimer’s official admission guide lists two products. These are displayed adult standard prices, before any applicable offer; check the price for your date.
| Product | Included areas and time | Displayed adult price |
|---|---|---|
| Jjimjil Spa ticket | Jjimjil Spa Zone, four hours | ₩40,000 |
| Aqua Spa ticket | Aqua Spa and Jjimjil Spa zones, six hours | ₩60,000 normal season; ₩70,000 high season |
At the displayed normal-season prices, the difference is ₩20,000: ₩60,000 minus ₩40,000. The cheaper Jjimjil-only ticket does not include the swimming pools. Choose the product after deciding which areas you will use and confirming your clothing and admission questions.
The operator says swimsuits are not available to rent, although they can be bought at the first-floor lobby shop. Spa-clothes rental is included in the admission guidance. Bring suitable swimwear if swimming is part of your plan; do not build your budget around finding a particular garment, size or price at the shop.
Send a question that staff can answer
Give your visit date, tattoo location and approximate coverage, the garment you plan to wear, and the areas you intend to use. You can describe those details in words in your first message.
English
I plan to visit Cimer on [date]. I have a tattoo on [location] covering approximately [description or size]. I would like to use [Aqua Spa pools / Jjimjil Spa / bathing area / body scrub]. Will I be able to use each of these areas? If covering is required, would [describe the swimwear] meet your rules? Please let me know about any separate restrictions before I buy my ticket.

Use the operator’s official contact channel and keep the reply with your booking. If you are purchasing through a separate seller, check that seller’s date-change and cancellation conditions too. An unanswered eligibility question is a reason to wait for clarification before committing to a restrictive ticket.
Make the packing choice before leaving your hotel
Imagine that you have a suitable swimsuit, a cotton T-shirt and no swim-fabric cover for a large arm tattoo. The cotton shirt does not solve the posted pool-clothing requirement. Get the operator’s answer about appropriate coverage while you still have time to pack accordingly. This is a hypothetical packing example, not a report of a visitor being refused entry.
Keep swim clothing and dry clothing easy to separate in your bag. Save your ticket and any admission reply where you can show them at reception. Confirm the answer before entering or paying for additional services, especially if a staff member describes a restriction you had not discussed.
For the changing-room, bathing and communal-area routine, read the first-visit jjimjilbang guide. If your itinerary also includes Busan, compare Spa Land’s four-hour and six-hour visit costs and ask that venue about its own admission policy. If this is part of an airport stop and reliable sleep is the priority, compare Incheon transit-hotel and Darakhyu arrangements separately.
