Coming from Seoul the night before an early Incheon flight? Start with Darakhyu, the capsule hotel in the public area. Walkerhill’s Transit Hotel is airside, and its current booking notice restricts stays to transfer passengers. The room’s side of immigration matters before its price. An airport address alone does not mean you can reach the bed.

Darakhyu’s FAQ says arriving transit passengers must pass immigration to reach it. Transit Hotel’s reservation notice says passengers who pass immigration or collect checked luggage cannot access that hotel. These operator pages were checked October 23, 2026. A room reservation does not establish permission to enter Korea.

T1 or T2: use the actual departure terminal

Walkerhill instructs Transit Hotel guests to book the branch matching their departing flight’s terminal. It also warns that a wrong-terminal reservation can incur a no-show charge without a refund. Do not book the other branch simply because it has a room available. Confirm a connection that changes terminals with the airline before choosing the hotel.

For a landside stay before departure, choosing Darakhyu in that departure terminal removes a separate terminal-transfer task from your morning.

Use the official Darakhyu T1 map, Darakhyu T2 map and Transit Hotel directions. For Transit Hotel, those directions begin with the international transfer route and transfer security, with an onward boarding pass.

An early flight: plan the night before, then work backward

Hypothetical plan: you leave Seoul on Monday evening for a Tuesday 07:30 flight from T1. You want to reach your room around Monday 22:00.

Start your room search with Darakhyu T1 for that Monday night, then confirm the exact arrival and departure times with the property. Use our AREX guide to plan the evening journey. Work backward from the airline’s required arrival, bag-drop and boarding times to decide when to leave the room. Being inside the airport complex does not remove those steps.

For travelers starting their journey in Korea, the hotel’s room FAQ rules out using Transit Hotel the day before departure. Other answers on that FAQ discuss departure-day access, while the current reservation notice says transfer passengers only. For any itinerary outside a straightforward international connection, obtain the property’s confirmation before booking; do not assume an online boarding pass resolves access.

Darakhyu’s three-hour price is a daytime price

The published Single room tariffs on the T1 room page and T2 room page match as of October 23:

Single room usePublished minimumWeekday price
Day use, 08:00–20:003 hours₩32,000
Overnight, 20:00–08:0012 hours from check-in₩69,000

These listed prices include 10% VAT. Weekend and holiday prices may change; check the quote for your dates. These are Darakhyu Single-room rates, not Transit Hotel prices or a quote for a room with its own shower.

The operator applies the overnight rate outside the daytime window. A short sleep beginning at 22:00 therefore should not be budgeted as the ₩32,000 daytime block. Leaving early does not turn the published overnight package into that daytime product. Confirm your permitted checkout time and total charge before payment.

Send the property a complete itinerary

For an uncertain transfer, use this message as a checklist:

I arrive at ICN on [date, flight, terminal] and depart on [date, flight, terminal]. My airline says my checked bags [are transferred through / must be collected]. I [will / will not] enter Korea. Can I access your branch, and which room period covers [arrival time] to [departure time]?

Transit Hotel lists +82-32-743-3000 for T1 and +82-32-743-3040 for T2. Ask the airline to confirm baggage and transfer arrangements; ask the hotel to confirm its accommodation conditions. Keep the reply with your booking.

If the usable branch is full, compare alternatives you can actually reach. For a landside hotel outside the airport, verify transport at your required hour, including the final return to your departure terminal. For a late arrival continuing into Seoul, use the separate Incheon night-bus guide. For several nights in the city, compare Seoul hotel areas.

Make the decision in this order: accessible area → correct terminal → usable room hours → full price and cancellation terms.
