Luggage delivery can work for a Korean Airbnb, but you may need to meet the driver instead of leaving the suitcase behind. Goodlugg’s Door2Door service offers scheduled pickup from unstaffed accommodation; SPOT follows the Airbnb handoff method selected during booking. Confirm who gives and receives the bags before planning a luggage-free morning.

No front desk: choose the handoff first
The useful question is not simply whether a website lists “Airbnb.” Write down the plan for both ends of the delivery: who holds the bag, where the exchange happens and when that person or location is available.

A self-check-in reservation tells you how you enter the accommodation. It does not establish permission for a courier to enter, store luggage before check-in or collect it after checkout. Settle those arrangements with the host through your reservation’s messaging channel.
Goodlugg: plan around a personal pickup
Goodlugg’s official Door2Door page lists the following arrangement for Airbnb or unstaffed-accommodation pickup:
- Choose 8 AM, 9 AM or 10 AM for the meetup.
- Be outside the accommodation, or at the agreed spot, 10 minutes early.
- The driver waits up to 10 minutes.
- Complete the booking by midnight on the preceding day.
The page labels the service beta and says a booking may be reviewed and cancelled within one hour of confirmation. Check its status before treating it as settled. Obtain the quote for your actual endpoints, date and bags.
For a hypothetical 10 AM pickup, the published early-arrival instruction means being at the meeting point at 9:50 AM, already packed. Do not schedule sightseeing elsewhere while assuming the courier will find your suitcase in the hallway. Ask the operator what happens if either party is delayed; a train departure should not depend on using every minute of a waiting allowance.
SPOT: confirm the method, arrival window and extra charge
SPOT’s current FAQ says Airbnb handoffs follow the method selected during booking, with the exact instructions in the booking information. It also lists an Airbnb surcharge, so a headline route price is not necessarily your final total. The booking cutoff is 8 PM the day before pickup.
Its main service page says delivery to hotels and Airbnbs is by 9 PM, with no selectable arrival time. Bags handed over after 7 PM cannot use same-day delivery to those destinations. Confirm the schedule shown for your actual booking.
That arrival window matters if the host will only be there briefly or your door access starts later in the day. Ask how the selected handoff method works throughout the delivery window. Do not interpret a room’s check-in time as the suitcase’s arrival appointment.
Send two short messages before booking
Give the host the proposed date and handoff window first. A useful message is:
I’m considering luggage delivery on [date]. Can a courier [collect/deliver] [number] suitcases at this property during [window]? Who can hand them over or receive them? If nobody is present, is there an approved place and entry arrangement? Does this work before check-in or after checkout, and is there a fee?
Then ask the delivery operator:
My accommodation has no staffed front desk. Can you serve [full address, building and unit] on [date]? I can meet the driver at [time], or my host has agreed to [arrangement]. Please confirm pickup and delivery separately, the total including any accommodation surcharge or storage, and the fallback if the handoff cannot happen.
Keep access instructions in the booking’s private support channel, with the host’s permission. A map pin helps locate a building; it does not explain which entrance or person receives the luggage. Save the agreed instructions and booking contact before departure.
If delivery does not fit your day
