Yes—you can collect an LG U+ pocket Wi-Fi at Busan’s Gimhae Airport and return it at Incheon Airport. LG U+’s rental FAQ allows returns to its customer centers at Incheon, Gimpo or Gimhae, even when the pickup location was different. You can plan a Busan-to-Seoul trip without returning to Busan just to hand back that router.
Official pages checked October 25, 2026. This is LG U+’s published policy. For another operator or a reseller voucher, confirm the return conditions attached to that particular rental.
Book pocket WiFi with separate pickup and return airports
The LG U+ pocket Wi-Fi booking page has separate pickup and return location fields, plus an option to use the same location. For this itinerary, enter them separately:
| Your journey | Rental detail to choose | Check before confirming |
|---|---|---|
| Arrive in Busan on an international flight | Pickup: Gimhae International Airport | Arrival date, collection time and the international arrivals counter |
| Leave from Incheon Terminal 1 | Return: Incheon Airport T1 | Your departing flight’s actual terminal |
| Leave from Incheon Terminal 2 | Return: Incheon Airport T2 | Select T2 rather than carrying over the pickup location |
Use the planned handover date and time for the return. A flight departing just after midnight may require returning the router on the preceding calendar date.
Before confirming, read the full rental total for your dates and save the location details. The ability to choose a route does not confirm a device reservation until your booking is completed.
Match the counter to your flight
At Gimhae, LG U+’s customer-center directory lists the counter in the international terminal’s first-floor arrival hall, between Gates 2 and 3, open 06:00–22:00. These times are in Korea. A scheduled landing before closing does not tell you when you will reach the desk after immigration and baggage collection.
For an arrival close to closing time, ask the operator how your booking will be handled if you reach the counter late. Save your onward route beforehand; our Gimhae-to-Haeundae bus and train guide helps you choose the next leg.
At Incheon, LG U+ lists desks in the first-floor arrival hall of each terminal:
- Terminal 1 counter map and hours: one desk operates 24 hours; the other is listed as 06:00–22:00.
- Terminal 2 counter map and hours: one desk operates 24 hours; the other is listed as 06:00–22:00.
Use the linked map to locate the open desk in your departure terminal. Check it again before travel, since the operator notes that counter schedules can change with international flights. A 24-hour desk listing does not make every desk open overnight.
Return the router before going through departure security
Build the handover into your airport arrival plan:
- Keep the rental kit accessible. Gather the router and the accessories listed on your rental receipt before you pack.
- Find the LG U+ desk in your terminal’s arrival hall. Allow time to visit that floor as well as completing airline check-in and departure procedures.
- Hand it back before entering the secure departure area. Do not leave this errand until you are at the boarding gate.
- Settle the rental and keep proof of return. LG U+’s FAQ says pocket Wi-Fi payment is settled on return.
- Check how you will stay connected afterward. Download boarding details and meeting instructions before handing over the device.
The operator’s product page says daily rental charges continue until the device is returned. If you miss the handover or your itinerary changes, contact LG U+ using the support details on the counter page. Arrange the next step directly; a different brand’s desk or an unattended drop-off is not a confirmed return method.
If the group splits up, decide who keeps the router
For a Busan-to-Seoul journey together, one router can stay with the group. If one traveler leaves earlier, decide who will carry and return it—and how the departing traveler will get online once separated.
If each person needs an independent connection, our Korea eSIM and airport SIM guide covers phone compatibility and pickup choices. If everyone continues to Seoul together, compare the Busan–Seoul train and bus options before choosing the final rental dates.
A useful booking check is: “Please confirm pickup at Gimhae on [date/time] and return at Incheon Terminal [1 or 2] on [date/time], with the exact counter and total rental charge.” Keep that confirmation with the receipt so the return plan travels with the device.
