Same-day luggage delivery does not necessarily mean your suitcase is ready at hotel check-in. Goodlugg currently lists collection after 10 PM for its Seoul–Busan hotel route, in either direction, with a minimum of two bags. If that timing fits your trip, keep everything you need for the first evening in a smaller bag that travels with you.

The two-bag price check
Here is the relevant example from Goodlugg’s official Korea delivery page. All service times are Korea local time.

Calculation: two eligible checked bags × ₩48,000 = ₩96,000 one way. This is the displayed base-price example; check the final booking total. Bags over 30 kg are excluded. The page requires advance booking by the preceding midnight and luggage-photo upload.
The useful comparison is the whole cost of your proposed handoff. If you would otherwise carry the cases to the station and onward to your hotel, decide whether avoiding those two loaded journeys is worth that quoted total to your party. Sending two bags also means packing a separate small bag for anything you cannot leave unavailable until late evening.
Choose the handoff that fits your day

For a one-night stop, write out the dates rather than simply asking for “same-day delivery.” For example: you leave your Seoul hotel on Monday, spend Monday night elsewhere, and check into Busan on Tuesday. Ask both the operator and the receiving hotel which day the bags would arrive, who would accept them and whether holding them until Tuesday is permitted. This is a hypothetical itinerary, not a confirmed storage arrangement.
Zimcarry KTX forwarding is another route to price
Zimcarry’s official KTX express page describes station forwarding. Its KTX express branches are closed on Sundays. Acceptance normally closes 30 minutes before a listed dispatch train and may close earlier if capacity fills. Use the service’s dispatch list; your own passenger train is not automatically a luggage dispatch. Collection must fit the receiving branch’s hours.
Zimcarry also links an official courier-connection notice, dated November 25, 2024, offering arranged pickup and delivery. Ask for the complete route, timing and total price. A station tariff alone is not a hotel-to-hotel quote.
A practical comparison needs the same endpoints on both sides: your actual departing hotel and actual receiving hotel. Include any trip you still have to make to a luggage counter. Check whether you must personally collect the bags and what happens if your sightseeing or train journey runs late.
If you decide to carry everything on the train, use the separate KTX luggage allowance and storage guide before packing. Buying a passenger ticket and arranging luggage delivery are separate decisions.
Get a clear answer from both hotels
Before paying, assemble one short handoff note:
- Exact hotel names and addresses, including the branch.
- Guest name used for the receiving reservation and its check-in date.
- Bag count, measurements and weights.
- Agreed handover date and time at the departing hotel.
- Expected receipt window and the receiving hotel’s staffed hours.
- Operator confirmation, tracking details and a contact for a delayed handoff.

Pack for the evening you actually have
Keep your passport, medication, valuables and travel documents with you. Add the charger, sleepwear, toiletries, a change of clothes and any children’s essentials you will need before the large cases arrive. Walk through your planned arrival, dinner and bedtime: if an item is needed at any of those points, it belongs in the bag you carry.

The best delivery choice is the one whose receiving window and handoff fit your itinerary. Settle those details before you remove the suitcases from your own travel plan.
