Spa Land’s standard adult ticket costs ₩26,000 for up to four hours. Spending at least ₩10,000 inside, excluding admission, can extend the allowance to six hours. That can be useful if you already want a meal or another paid extra—but it is not automatically the cheapest way to stay a little longer.
Here is the useful comparison: at the posted rates, six hours with no purchases costs ₩36,000, including overtime. Six hours with exactly ₩10,000 of qualifying purchases also totals ₩36,000. The second option buys you something as well as the extra time; neither is a free six-hour admission ticket.

Four hours, five hours or six: compare the total
The operator’s visitor guide lists overtime at ₩5,000 per hour. The examples below assume one adult, no discount, exact whole-hour visits and no luggage-storage charge.
| Your plan | Calculation | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 4 hours, no extras | Admission only | ₩26,000 |
| 5 hours, no extras | ₩26,000 + ₩5,000 overtime | ₩31,000 |
| 6 hours, no extras | ₩26,000 + 2 × ₩5,000 overtime | ₩36,000 |
| Up to 6 hours, exactly ₩10,000 in qualifying purchases | ₩26,000 + ₩10,000 purchases | ₩36,000 |
For a five-hour visit, buying ₩10,000 of extras solely to get the extension costs ₩5,000 more than the no-purchase example. Buy the extras if you want them. For a four-hour visit, the extension adds no useful time unless you change your plan.
Ask reception how part-hours are billed and which purchases qualify. The published hourly rate does not establish minute-by-minute billing, and this table does not price a four-hour-and-five-minute stay.
The spending threshold is per person
Visit Busan’s Spa Land guide describes the ₩10,000 threshold per person. For two adults, budget ₩52,000 in standard admission plus at least ₩20,000 of qualifying purchases if each wants to use the spending-based extension: ₩72,000 in total before other costs.
Do not assume a shared ₩20,000 bill charged to one person’s key extends both visits. Before ordering, ask staff how to assign purchases to each visitor and confirm each person’s permitted exit time. Admission itself does not count toward the threshold. Do not count a separate suitcase-locker payment unless staff confirms that it qualifies.
Keep a running total of extras. “Up to six hours” describes the visit allowance; it does not make food, treatments or every optional service part of the entry price.
A late arrival cannot recover hours after closing
Both the operator’s Korean page and English page currently show 09:00–22:00, last admission 21:00. The tourism article linked above still lists 08:00–23:00 in its overview. Use the operator’s current schedule when planning and check it again before travel.
Simple clock arithmetic helps:
- 16:00 entry: six hours reaches 22:00. Arrive earlier if you want room for changing and checkout.
- 18:00 entry: four hours reaches closing. An extension cannot create another two hours that evening.
- 20:00 entry: only two hours remain before closing, even though the base allowance is four hours.
These are planning examples, not guaranteed entry or a promise about when your admission clock starts. Confirm the start and exit times at reception. A ticket’s maximum allowance is not a reason to rush a later train or flight.
Suitcase storage has its own clock
The operator restricts large suitcases in the internal changing-room lockers and directs visitors to the storage lockers in front of the ticket booth. Its posted storage fee is ₩3,000 for the first five hours, then ₩1,000 per additional hour.
A storage period billed as six hours would therefore cost ₩4,000. Add that separately to your spa budget. You may store a bag before entering and retrieve it after checkout, so the storage period can be longer than the spa visit. Check locker dimensions and availability before relying on this for a hotel-change day; do not assume one locker fits every bag in your group.
Choose the visit before choosing the ticket
Start with the hours you actually have and the extras you already want. If comparing a reseller ticket or a tourist pass, read its redemption and extension conditions rather than transferring this standard-admission calculation unchanged. Our Visit Busan Pass comparison explains how Spa Land fits the pass’s attraction groups and a wider itinerary.
For families, the operator admits children from elementary-school age; elementary pupils need a guardian of the same gender. Confirm eligibility before purchasing. For clothing, bathing etiquette and what to pack, use our first-visit jjimjilbang guide.
