Starfield Library at COEX is in Seoul; the library spanning floors 4–7 is in Suwon. A saved photograph labelled only “Starfield Library” does not tell you which trip to plan. Compare the official COEX photos with the official Suwon photos, then save that branch’s address before opening directions. Library entry is free at both.

COEX’s description identifies a two-level space with 13-metre bookshelves. Suwon’s page describes the library across floors 4–7. Use those features to check an image, then confirm the branch name and address. Seasonal decorations or a tightly cropped photograph are weaker clues than the official location page.
Save a map pin with the city attached
Copy the relevant mall name into your map app and compare the address on the result:
- Seoul: 스타필드 코엑스몰 — 서울 강남구 영동대로 513
- Suwon: 스타필드 수원 — 경기 수원시 장안구 수성로 175
Within the selected mall, look for 별마당 도서관, the library’s Korean name. Saving the mall and the library together makes it easier to distinguish the city journey from the final indoor walk. The station is only part of the route
For COEX in Seoul
The mall’s official subway directions list connected approaches from Line 2 Samseong, exits 5 and 6, and Line 9 Bongeunsa, exit 7. Choose the route that works from your starting address, then follow the mall’s library signs. Reaching the station does not put you directly beside the bookshelves.

For Starfield Suwon
The operator directs subway visitors to Hwaseo Station, with walking routes from exits 1 and 4. Its directions page gives approximately 470 metres and eight minutes for the station approach. That estimate covers the approach to the mall, not the trip from Seoul or the indoor route to the library.
Set your final destination to Starfield Suwon, even if you are comparing a train that arrives at Suwon Station. Include the remaining connection in that option’s time and fare. A train’s station-to-station duration is not a door-to-library journey.

Before adding either pin, write down:
Available time − outward journey − indoor walking − time to your next stop = time left at the library.
Use your intended departure time in the route planner. Include transfers, the station-to-mall walk and the trip to your next appointment. If you also plan another Suwon attraction, route that leg separately rather than treating everything in the city as one stop.
The free admission makes the libraries easy to add to a suitable route; it does not make the travel time free. Choose one first. Visit both only if seeing both spaces is itself a reason for the trip. For a late return, check the last train to your actual destination before staying until closing.
