The café brand is not enough: save the exact branch address before planning the route. Club Espresso’s Buam-dong store is at 132 Changuimun-ro, not beside Anguk Station. Onion’s Anguk branch is at 5 Gyedong-gil. Treating them as neighbouring stops can waste the part of the day you meant to spend sitting down.

Choose the outing, then the café

Onion Anguk: check the branch, not a photo from another store
The operator’s contact page gives 5 Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, near Anguk Station Exit 3. It lists weekday opening from 07:00 and weekend/holiday opening from 09:00, with a 22:00 close and 21:30 last order. Those are published regular hours; a special notice can supersede them.
The Korea Tourism Organization listing describes its preserved hanok features, including the main wooden hall and courtyard. That makes it a candidate if the building is part of your interest. It does not establish that every seat is available, the queue is short or the pastry you saw online will still be in stock.
Club Espresso: build a Buam-dong route
The store’s own directions page gives 132 Changuimun-ro, Jongno-gu for the Buam branch. The site’s footer also displays a company address in Gapyeong; that is not the same destination.
Use the branch directions and a current map route. Do not treat the website’s telephone customer-service hours as guaranteed café seating hours. Confirm the shop’s current opening if you are making a special journey.
Two stops are enough to compare something
Choose a purpose for each stop. One could be for a particular drink; the other could be for a dessert or a building you want to see. If both stops serve the same purpose and require a long transfer, keep the one that fits the rest of your day.
For a coffee-focused visit, note the drink you ordered, its size, whether it was hot or iced and the flavour you noticed. For a dessert-focused visit, compare texture and portion rather than counting how many viral items you purchased. Those observations make the outing personal without requiring a long checklist of famous places.
Decide a maximum waiting time before arriving. If the available time is 90 minutes and the queue looks likely to consume most of it, use your nearby alternative. Buying takeaway is another option only if the venue offers it and the thing you wanted was the food or drink rather than a seated visit.
Price the actual order
There is no universal ₩4,000–6,000 coffee range or automatic weekday discount assumed here. Read the current menu and any per-person ordering rule.
Illustrative two-person budget: two ₩6,000 drinks and one shared ₩8,000 dessert total ₩20,000 at the first café. Two more ₩6,000 drinks at the second make the total ₩32,000, or ₩16,000 each, before transport. The sample prices are not either named café’s menu.
If a set costs more than the individual items you actually wanted, it is not a saving for your plan. Sharing a dessert also does not override a venue’s minimum drink order.
Check comfort as well as the photograph
Before choosing, consider seating style, stairs, toilets, luggage, noise and whether you need to work. An attractive courtyard photo does not tell you whether there is an accessible table or a laptop policy that fits your visit. Ask the venue when a detail is essential.

For the rest of the outing, choose a museum or palace that fits the same area. A café break works best when it improves the day you already wanted to have.
