Visit Busan Pass BIG3 covers one Group A attraction and two Group B attractions—not any three places you choose. Spa Land and BUSAN X the SKY are both Group A. Put both on your list and BIG3 alone will not cover the whole plan, even if you only want three stops.
Start with your actual places, then choose the pass. Below, a three-stop adult example totals ₩71,000 separately, compared with ₩55,000 on a 24-hour pass if the visits fit its time limit. A different pace or a skipped stop changes the answer.
Official information checked October 22, 2026. Prices are published standard rates, not promotional checkout quotes. The official pass catalog restricts this product to non-Koreans; Korean citizens cannot purchase or use it.
The four options, with the limits that matter
| Pass | Price | Included choices |
|---|---|---|
| BIG3 | ₩45,000 | 1 Group A + 2 Group B |
| 24H | ₩55,000 | Eligible A and B attractions within 24 hours |
| BIG5 | ₩65,000 | 2 Group A + 3 Group B |
| 48H | ₩85,000 | Eligible A and B attractions within 48 hours |
The catalog lists the same prices for Card and Mobile versions. Each included attraction can be used once. BIG3 and BIG5 remain active for 180 days after the first free admission, subject to the validity shown for your pass. They suit visits spread over separate days when the group allowance fits.
Group A examples include Spa Land, BUSAN X the SKY, Skyline Luge and Busan City Tour Bus. Group B examples include Haeundae Beach Train, Songdo Marine Cable Car and Museum 1. Check the current catalog for your exact stops: the attraction count alone cannot tell you whether BIG3 or BIG5 works.
Also check the individual facility page. A listing marked Discount does not mean the attraction becomes free. Included products can have time, ride or equipment limits.
A three-stop example: ₩71,000 separately or ₩55,000 within 24 hours
This is a planning example for one adult, not a trip we tested or a guarantee of entry. Suppose you want these three specific experiences:
| Stop and included product | Standard adult price |
|---|---|
| Spa Land: four-hour sauna and jjimjilbang admission, Group A | ₩26,000 |
| BUSAN X the SKY: observation-deck admission, Group A | ₩29,000 |
| Haeundae Beach Train: all-stops ticket, Group B | ₩16,000 |
| Separate-ticket total | ₩71,000 |
These prices and benefits are listed in the official pass directory. Shinsegae’s Spa Land page also lists the ₩26,000 adult rate and four-hour base visit. Meals, transport, spa extras and any overtime charges are outside this comparison.
Here is what the same three stops cost under each choice:
| Payment choice | Cost for this example |
|---|---|
| Separate standard tickets | ₩71,000 |
| BIG3 for X the SKY + Beach Train, then pay Spa Land separately | ₩71,000: ₩45,000 + ₩26,000 |
| 24H, with all three visits within its active period | ₩55,000: ₩16,000 below the separate total |
| BIG5, with two Group B choices left unused | ₩65,000: ₩6,000 below the separate total |
| 48H for just these three stops | ₩85,000: ₩14,000 above the separate total |
The BIG3 row leaves one Group B choice unused. It still cannot cover the second Group A attraction. BIG5 fits the two A stops and allows a slower schedule, but its unused B choices have no cash value in this calculation.
Remove a stop and recalculate. Spa Land plus the all-stops Beach Train ticket is ₩42,000 separately at these rates—less than either BIG3 or 24H. Do not add an unwanted attraction merely to fill the pass. If a legitimate discounted individual ticket is available for your date, substitute that actual price before comparing. For children, use their applicable admission prices instead of this adult budget.
Start the clock at the first attraction ticket
The official How to Use guide starts the 24H/48H period when the first attraction ticket is issued. Twenty-four hours is not two full sightseeing days. For example, a first ticket at 17:00 on Friday gives a 24H window ending at 16:59 on Saturday under the site’s published timing rule.
Before activating, check that your next day’s must-do stop is open and can admit you before expiry. A late start is useful only when the following morning’s route works. Account for travel, meals and time inside each place; a four-hour spa visit can occupy a large part of the day.
Check each facility’s dated closures as well as its usual hours. Do not treat an attraction appearing in the pass catalog as evidence that it will be open at the time you arrive.
Beach Train is included; Sky Capsule is a separate decision
The official Beach Train benefit page includes the all-stops Beach Train ticket and explicitly excludes the Sky Capsule. The all-stops ticket allows one reboarding at each of the seven stations and must be used the same day.
Ticket issuance is at Mipo, Cheongsapo or Songjeong. The exchanged ticket specifies the first boarding location and time; boarding closes 10 minutes before departure. Busy-day issuance can finish early. The listing also says a first boarding after 18:00 receives a ticket suitable for the remaining operating time, so do not budget a full all-stops outing that late.
A pass purchase does not reserve your preferred departure. If the capsule itself is the priority, use our Sky Capsule ticket and return-trip comparison and keep that cost outside the pass calculation.
Card or Mobile: choose before paying
The official purchase guide offers two formats:
- Mobile: no physical-card pickup, but it cannot later be exchanged for a card. Follow the seller’s app instructions and confirm that you can display the pass before travel.
- Card: collect it at a designated exchange point before your first attraction. Check the pickup location and its hours against your arrival; bring the exchange voucher and the required passport or ID.
For mobile admission, the use instructions require the QR code in the app where it was purchased. A screenshot, printout or PDF is not accepted. Mobile passes bought through another seller cannot be registered in the official app.
Only the physical card has the rechargeable public-transport function. You must add a separate balance; the sightseeing price does not pay your ordinary subway and bus fares. A mobile attraction pass cannot act as that transport card.
A refund detail to check before topping up: the official purchase guide says attraction use, a transport-card top-up or transit use makes the pass nonrefundable. That refund condition is separate from the sightseeing clock. Read the conditions for your seller before charging a card you may want to return.
A five-minute check before buying
- List only the attractions you would actually pay to visit. Mark each A, B, discounted-only or not included.
- Copy the exact included product and any reservation requirement from the official attraction directory. Check closure notices for your date.
- Add the individual prices available to you. Compare that total with a pass plus anything it leaves out.
- Mark the first ticket issue time, last planned entry and the travel between them. If your schedule needs a rush across Busan to break even, reconsider the plan.
- Choose Card or Mobile, confirm pickup or app access, then use the official Buy PASS page.
If the sightseeing bus is one of your choices, our Busan City Tour Bus route guide explains its routes and boarding limits. If Songdo is the priority, check the cable-car ticket options before assuming every cabin type is included. Build the route around the visit you want, then buy the ticket combination that serves it.
